SOLTER WHITE TUNGSTEN ELECTRODES (0.8% Zirconium) are TIG (GTAW) welding consumables designed for applications where arc stability and low weld pool contamination are required. Their composition with 0.8% zirconium oxide (ZrO₂) improves thermal performance and helps maintain a stable rounded tip, especially when welding with alternating current (AC) on aluminum and its alloys. They can also be used with direct current (DC) on certain non-ferrous metals. Supplied in boxes of 10 units and available in various diameters to match the current range and joint geometry.

    Main Features:

0.8% ZrO₂ composition (White): improves arc stability and increases resistance to contamination during TIG welding.

Recommended for AC TIG welding: particularly suitable for welding aluminum and light alloys, providing a more uniform arc.

Rounded tip: promotes a stable arc and reduces degradation of the tip geometry during prolonged work.

High resistance to overheating: helps maintain performance when working under continuous heat cycles.

Smooth and controlled arc ignition: facilitates arc start and weld pool control in fine or critical weld beads.

Clean and precise weld beads: minimizes base material contamination and improves weld bead surface finish.

Suitable for DC use: reliable performance in specific applications on non-ferrous metals (depending on procedure and material).

Supply format: box of 10 units for maintenance, workshop, and industrial environments.

    Available sizes: Ø 1,0 mm (Ref. 10177), Ø 1,6 mm (Ref. 10178), Ø 2,0 mm (Ref. 10179), Ø 2,4 mm (Ref. 10180), Ø 3,2 mm (Ref. 10181).
