SOLTER 2+1 Warranty
SOLTER products are designed for industrial and professional applications.
Both their construction and the strict testing and quality controls ensure the reliability of SOLTER products under the following conditions:
Applicable Territory
This warranty protocol is only applicable in Spain and Portugal. In other countries, the warranty will be managed by the official local distributor, according to the specific conditions applicable in each region.
Warranty Duration
SOLTER guarantees that its products are free from manufacturing defects during the following warranty periods:
- 3 years, for all products registered under the “SOLTER 2+1” program, including the MMA (CORE, COTT, STYL, ICON, AEROARC), TIG (ICONTIG, AEROTIG), and MIG-MAG (AEROMIG, AEROPROCESS, SOLMIG) lines. This includes transformers, electronic circuits, and components with manufacturing defects during normal product use.
- 2 years, for all unregistered products from the MMA, TIG, and MIG-MAG lines, as well as battery chargers, personal and collective protective equipment, and their accessories.
- 1 year, for moving components such as fans, water cooling systems, water pumps, interconnection cables, cable reels, TIG torches, MIG torches, and jump starter batteries.
Repair Warranty
Once a unit has been repaired, the original warranty remains valid until the end of the period specified at the time of purchase. Replacement parts are covered for a period of 6 months.
“SOLTER 2+1 Warranty” Registration
To benefit from the special warranty program, the equipment must be registered within 30 days of purchase.
El registro debe realizarse a través del portal oficial: FORMULARIO DE ALTA
Warranty Claim
In case of malfunction or failure of a product under warranty, the claim must be made through the distributor where it was purchased, or alternatively, through an authorized SOLTER distributor.
It is essential to present the purchase invoice, including the seller's and buyer's details as well as the equipment's serial number.
For equipment registered under the “SOLTER 2+1” program, the registration confirmation issued at the time of product registration must also be provided.
Warranty Exclusions
The following are excluded from the warranty:
- Wear parts such as connection cables, wheels, connectors, screen filters, cases, rollers, MIG and TIG torch consumables, or other components subject to intensive use.
- The progressive loss of capacity, performance or autonomy in batteries, jump starters, accumulators or other energy storage components, when such loss is the result of normal use, intensive use, charge and discharge cycles, natural ageing, lack of maintenance, prolonged storage without charge, exposure to unsuitable temperatures or non-recommended operating conditions.
- Cases in which the battery or energy component is below the optimal capacity level for use, provided that the technical diagnosis determines that this situation corresponds to degradation due to use or end of service life, and not to a manufacturing defect.
- Equipment that has been tampered with, modified, dismantled or repaired by personnel not authorised by SOLTER.
- Damage caused by improper, negligent use or use contrary to the instructions in the product manual.
- Damage caused by impacts, falls, humidity, liquid ingress, excessive dirt, insufficient ventilation, overloads, incorrect connections, unsuitable power supply or exposure to environmental conditions not intended for the product.
- Costs arising from maintenance, adjustments, demonstrations, periodic inspections, user training or technical travel expenses.
- Damage or failures resulting from the use of accessories, consumables, chargers, cables or components that are not original, compatible or recommended by SOLTER
